Naked Apartments is joining the NYC Rental Network. Our subscription program will be discontinued on January 31st, 2019 and starting February 1st, 2019, agents, landlords, and property managers will be required to post listings directly to the NYC Rental Network via StreetEasy in order for them to be published on Naked Apartments. Listings posted via the NYC Rental Network will appear on Zillow, Trulia, and HotPads in addition to StreetEasy and Naked Apartments.
This change ensures that we continue to provide Naked Apartments renters with the most robust, highest quality database of NYC listings possible. At the same time, the NYC Rental Network’s unparalleled reach provides agents with the opportunity to connect with more renters than ever from five Zillow Group brands.
On January 31st, 2019, all Naked Apartments subscriptions will be deactivated. On that day, all listings will also be removed from Naked Apartments and replaced with listings from the NYC Rental Network. From February 1st onward, all listings must be posted directly to the NYC Rental Network via StreetEasy in order to be published on Naked Apartments.
Listings, reviews and profiles will no longer be visible to renters on January 31st, 2019. All messages, listings, reviews, and billing history will be available in a read-only capacity to logged-in agents between February 1st, 2019 and Friday, March 29th, 2019. Please make sure to copy any necessary information prior to that date.
We will process refunds starting February 1st, 2019. The amount of time it takes to post to your account depends on your credit card provider. The process generally takes a few business days.
The amount of your refund will be calculated based on the total number of unused days left on your subscription.
No, we are unable to transfer any balances at this time.
No, we are unable to transfer credit card information from Naked Apartments to StreetEasy.
Yes, you can still upgrade/downgrade plans until January 31st, 2019, at which point we will deactivate all accounts.
There are three types of listings that we will allow on Naked Apartments:
NYC RENTAL NETWORK: The NYC Rental Network offers agents a way to market their available rental listings across multiple Zillow Group consumer brands (StreetEasy, Naked Apartments, Zillow, Trulia and HotPads) for a per listing, per day advertising fee.
FEED-PROVIDED ROOMS FOR RENT: In order to get your rooms for rent on Naked Apartments, you will have to submit them via a listing feed. It’s okay if that feed includes non-rooms listings - we will filter those out and only publish the rooms for rent. There is no fee for posting rooms for rent.
ZILLOW RENTAL NETWORK LISTINGS OUTSIDE “VERTICAL LIVING” ZIP CODES: In order to post to the Zillow Rental Network, please make sure your listing is outside the 89 “vertical living” zip codes and then proceed to Zillow Rental Manager. See the below diagram for more clarification about when you should post to the NYC Rental Network and when you should post to the Zillow Rental Network.
The NYC Rental Network is the StreetEasy-led network of Zillow Group brands that caters specifically to the NYC market. This core market is comprised of 89 zip codes that we consider “vertical living.”
The Zillow Rental Network is the simplest way to manage your NYC rental listings if it is outside the 89 “vertical living” zip codes. Create and manage your listing in one place and it will be posted on Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, and Naked Apartments. Plus, see pre-applicant details upfront so you know who's qualified.
