How to register for a property manager account

A property manager account on StreetEasy gives you access to manage your entire portfolio of rental buildings and listings in one place. Registration is handled through StreetEasy Support and requires verification of your management company and its associated buildings.

Note: A property manager account is separate from an Agent Tools account and is not the same as a standard StreetEasy account. Do not use an existing Agent Tools login for this process. Your account must be connected to your verified management company and its building portfolio.

Before you start

• Use the company email address you'll use for ongoing account administration. This is the address your property manager account will be linked to.
• Have your company information and building addresses ready before contacting Support.
• Verification documents may be required. These can include public-record confirmation, a state filing receipt, Articles of Organization, or a Certificate of Incorporation.

Steps

1. Create or sign in to a StreetEasy account using your company email address. If you already have a personal StreetEasy account, use a separate email address for your property manager account.
2. Contact StreetEasy Support at support@streeteasy.com to request that your account be registered as a Property Manager account. Include the following in your message:
   • Your full name and the StreetEasy account email address
   • Your management company's legal name and any DBA (doing business as) name
   • Your company website and business contact information
   • The NYC building addresses you manage
   • Your relationship to the company and buildings (owner, manager, or both)
3. Provide any verification documents that StreetEasy requests. These confirm your company's identity and your relationship to the buildings.
4. Wait for confirmation. StreetEasy will verify your company, create or update the management-company record, assign your account the Property Manager role, and associate your buildings with your portfolio. You'll receive confirmation by email when this is complete.
5. Sign in on web or mobile web and select Buildings in the navigation to open your property manager account.
6. Review your portfolio. If any rental buildings you manage are missing, select Add building, search by address or building name, select the result, and confirm by selecting Add building.

Can I use my existing StreetEasy or Agent Tools account?

You can use an existing StreetEasy account as long as it was created with your company email address. However, do not use an Agent Tools account for this process — a Property Manager account is a separate account type that must be connected to a verified management company.

What documents might I need to provide?

StreetEasy verifies management companies using public records where possible. If your company cannot be verified through public records, you may be asked to provide a state filing receipt, Articles of Organization, or a Certificate of Incorporation.

How long does registration take?

Timelines vary depending on how quickly your company can be verified. StreetEasy Support will reach out if additional information is needed. You'll receive an email confirmation once your account has been set up.

Some of my buildings are missing from my portfolio after I'm set up. What should I do?

For missing rental buildings, go to Buildings, select Add building, and search by address or building name. If a building cannot be added through the workspace — for example, because it is a condo, co-op, or already claimed by another property manager — contact support@streeteasy.com.

Can more than one person from my company have a Property Manager account?

Yes. Each person who needs workspace access should go through the registration process with their own company email address. Contact support@streeteasy.com for help setting up multiple accounts under the same management company.

Is there a cost to register?

No. Registering for a Property Manager account is free. Building Showcase and Rental Boost are the paid products available within the workspace.
