How can I receive seller connections?

While the Experts program primarily distributes buyer connections, agents must be part of the StreetEasy Experts program in order to be eligible to receive seller connections too.

However, eligibility is just the first step: sellers are matched with Experts based on the Expert's relevant experience, listing performance, and/or seller preferences. We recommend that any interested Experts continue to gain experience and strengthen their agent profile.

Sellers can be matched algorithmically with Experts through their Owner Dashboard or matched via a direct introduction through the StreetEasy Concierge program.

If you're interested in being matched algorithmically, ask your Business Advisor to opt-in today. StreetEasy's algorithm matches sellers with up to three Experts on their Owner Dashboard based on criteria including:

• General experience: The number of homes sold by the agent over the past 10 years.
• Local expertise: The number of homes sold by the agent within one mile of the given property, respecting water boundaries.
• Property type experience: Does the agent have a deal history that includes co-ops, condos, and townhouses, or do they specialize in a single property type?
• Price accuracy: How closely do the agent’s past sale prices match the StreetEasy Valuation – our class-leading analysis of the market value of a given NYC property?

All Experts are eligible to be matched via the StreetEasy Concierge. Experts are matched based on criteria including their listing performance, Experts performance, and seller preferences. 

To continue to be eligible for seller connections, our Experts are expected to provide a high quality experience for any seller connections that they receive. Our data shows that agents who respond to inquiries faster are more likely to secure an appointment – and we recommend responding ideally within five minutes of the connection, but always within 24 hrs.
